This afternoon Maddie had her first proper 'play date' at our place, an I'm fairly confident it was a success :) You can judge from the pics below.
Despite a little bickering and problems sharing, they had a great time, and I heard them declaring to each other 'I love you' 'and I love you too, cause your my best friend!' How sweet! Quite hilarious too, to overhear things like (from Maddie to Ruby) 'Do you know... MY dad LOVES chocolate icecream!'. Well.. what can I say!.. she's right!
We picnic' ed, made cookies, dressed up, did drawing and gluing, played with dollies.. you name it! Did I mention I'm tired!?
Lunch time!

So gorgeous :)
Hope there was enough food at the picnic, looks like there was about a dozen mouths to feed. No one wants to see a hungry lambie either.
OHHHH
It is all just too cute;karate, cooking, picnics-It looks like a dream-in pink

Maddie's school sounds awesome esp for a 4 year old- Can we enrol?
Ask Matt if he has been surfing lately? By the way Hawaii was great :-)

Good to hear what you are up to.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your comments! Yes, I think Maddie is in school heaven... I hope it lasts for a long while!
Glad you had a fabulous time in Hawaii.. very jealous, as some hot weather would definately be appreciated.. summer was a complete No-show here in London. Matt was very jealous of your surfing comment.. (I think his words were.. 'Maggot!') I think it will be my one draw card to get him back to Australia eventually!
Hey Arwen.. yeah a new job! Gotta get back into work mode, I have one week of leisure left! Its an HR Assistant role with a marketing company, and its part time, 930-230 monday to thursday. It means I can still pick Maddie up from School, and have my fridays off! :)
Hope your all doing well. big hello's to everyone in Hobart!
